Tracy Vitug – Dental Hygienist
Dental hygienist Tracy Vitug is Director of Oral Hygiene at Waugh & Allen Orthodontics and Patient Care Coordinator. Tracy has been with Dr. Waugh since 1996. She received her Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science from Gainesville College/Lanier Technical College in 1999. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society and the American Dental Hygiene Association.
At Waugh & Allen she developed the Partners in Prevention Program (4X),a comprehensive oral hygiene program to address hygiene problems from the patient level all the way up to working one-on-one with their general dentists and dental hygienist. In 2008 the program expanded to include BriteBrace™ care (Waugh & Allen's proprietary system to eliminate enamel scarring). She facilitates annual dental hygiene continuing education programs for the area's 100+ dental hygienists, and started other systems like educational classes for patients and parents, along with tailored hygiene products for patients.
Eager to share her work for all patients' benefit, Tracy was appointed to Dentsply's Dental Professional Advisory Committee and was runner-up in the American Association of Orthodontists' 2010 Staff Presentation Competition! She has also been a speaker at the Damon Forum, the American Association of Orthodontists' Annual Session, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists' Annual Session.
Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and eating out! She has been happily married to her husband, Marty, since 1997. They live with their beautiful daughter, Myca, just north of Athens in Commerce, Georgia.
Sylvia Tyner – Scheduling Coordinator
Sylvia has been with Waugh & Allen since 2003. She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and a caring attitude. She works at the front desk taking care of patients' scheduling needs, answering the phone, and many other patient needs that come her way! She really enjoys getting to know our patients and helping them any way she can!
Sylvia has been married to her husband, Todd, since 1986. They have two children, one son, T.J., and one daughter, Karlee. They also have one granddaughter, Chambree. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Celia Sanders – Lab Technician
Celia and her husband, Randall, have been married for 34 years. They have one wonderful daughter, Randa, and a newly-welcomed son-in-law, Josh.
Celia has been employed with Dr. Waugh since 1997. Being our lab technician is incredibly important because Celia takes care of our patients after their braces are removed. She also does any kind of errands and deliveries that we need done at a moment's notice.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Ripley. She is a great cook, and loves gardening and reading her Bible.
Amy Perry – Clinical Assistant
Amy has been married to her wonderful husband, Corey, since May 2000. She is blessed with an exceptional daughter, Morgan, who is 12-years-old.
Having been with Waugh & Allen Orthodontics for 11 years, Amy is very experienced and gets specially requested by lots of patients. She also heads up our Orthodontic Patient Manager program and takes great pride in her work.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with family, reading and cooking.
Erika Payne – Office Manager
Erika has been married to her husband, Matt, for 10 years. They have one absolutely precious, fearless, and fun 3-year-old son, Drew.
Erika is a 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in exercise science. Go Dawgs! She started with Dr. Waugh in 2000 as a treatment coordinator and still serves as a back-up for that. Erika became office manager in 2007. She is also the marketing coordinator for the practice. There are so many facets to her position that they couldn't all be listed but Erika loves every bit of it! Waugh & Allen is such an incredible place to work!
In her free time, Erika enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and University of Georgia sports.

Kristin Marlow – Dental Hygienist
Kristin has been married to her husband since 1991. They have two children, Austin and AnnMarie.
Kristin graduated from Clayton State College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1991. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Her experience has included both general and cosmetic dentistry, prior to starting with Dr. Waugh in 2008. She works alongside Tracy Vitug, RDH in carrying out the Brite Brace care to patients, in the hygiene wheel.
In her free time, she is a hospice/bereavement volunteer for Compassionate Care and a small group leader with Athens Church. She also enjoys cooking, reading and hanging out with family.
Tony Lepain – Certified Radiology Technician
Tony has been married to his wife, Kathleen since 1987. They have two wonderful sons, William and Matthew.
Tony has been with Waugh & Allen since 2007. He is our Diagnostic Coordinator of Radiology and Imaging. He administers Cone Beam CT scans on prescribed patients both in our practice and for surrounding doctors who require this cutting-edge technology for surgeries, dental implants, TMJ evaluation, etc. With over 30 years of photographic experience, both as a professional and in retail sales, Tony brings a well rounded knowledge base to the practice.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, photography, biking, and building computers. He also participates in the March of Dimes "March for Babies" to help fight against pre-mature births. Also, Tony is active in his church, serving as a Vestry Member and Usher.
Samantha Jackson – Sterilization Technician
Samantha has been employed with Waugh & Allen Orthodontics for eight years. In addition to keeping all instruments sterilized, Samantha also assists with inventory control and patient flow in our Winder office.
Samantha has been married to her husband, Rick for 4 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her mother as well as singing. She attends church at Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA.
Jane Hubert – Insurance Coordinator
Jane joined Waugh and Allen in August 2008. She works part-time in the financial office; helping with insurance, dental reimbursement, and payment processing.
Jane enjoys reading, entertaining, and serving as a school/community volunteer. She and her family also enjoy traveling, sporting events, and camping.
Stephanie Hare – Treatment Coordinator
Stephanie is engaged to her fiancé Jordan. They have been together for eight years. They are getting married April 14, 2012!
Stephanie graduated from Gwinnett Technical College in June 2008 and has worked as a treatment coordinator and dental assistant for 4 years. She has been with Dr. Waugh for 2 years. She started out as a clinical assistant and has now moved into a treatment coordinator position.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, shopping, golfing, camping, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Rhonda Fowler – Clinical Assistant
Rhonda has been married to her husband, Kelly, since 1990. They have 2 children, Courtney and Daniel. She also has one precious granddaughter, Lexie.
Rhonda has been with Dr. Waugh since 2002. She is incredibly efficient and a great problem solver. She manages our WCare emergency facility along with helping with lots of lab work.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and their many animals, shopping at flea-markets, and doing multiple crafts.
Judy Carter – Technical Coordinator
Judy has been married to her husband, Ed, since 1977. They have 2 daughters, Brooke and Meagan. Judy is a huge animal lover. Her cats and dogs are truly her babies.
She has been with Dr. Waugh since 1994. Being cross-trained as a treatment coordinator, receptionist, and records technician, Judy is a great utility player in addition to her IT duties.

Vicki Baker – Financial Coordinator
Vicki has been with Waugh & Allen since 1992. She handles all aspects of patient finances and insurance.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoys reading, crafts of all kinds, and church activities.

Elsa Arellano – Clinical Assistant
Elsa has three daughters, Paola, age 14, Maria, age 11, and Kailyn, age 8. If we don't keep her busy enough, they definitely do!
Elsa has been with Dr. Waugh for five years. She is a certified orthodontic assistant and is a great asset for the practice. She also helps a lot with our patients by being bi-lingual.
Elsa is currently taking night courses to finish her math teaching degree. In her free-time she enjoys going to the movies with her daughters and going to the beach.
