Prevent Child Abuse Athens
Every Spring, the doctors and team members of
Waugh & Allen donate a majority of the fee paid for a select orthodontic case
to Prevent Child Abuse Athens (PCAA) at the organization's annual "Starry,
Starry Night" fundraiser, in recognition and support of the important work
PCAA does to promote positive parenting and stronger families in Clarke,
Oconee, Madison, and Oglethorpe counties.
National Public Radio Underwriter
Waugh and Allen has been an underwriter of the University of Georgia’s National Public Radio programming, supporting its noncommercial outreach to the Athens community.Make Kids Count
Make Kids Count was a sponsorship that helped fund children's college education. Make Kids Count served as a learning tool for area youth, with daily features in the local Athens daily news paper that were geared toward kids, with two winners announced in 2005, the year that Waugh & Allen was a major benefactor.
Athens Magazine is the Lifestyle Magazine of Northeast Georgia. It features, among other things, a review of “Doctors of Distinction” in which it lists Waugh and Allen, Associates in Orthodontics.
