Dr. William E. Allen, a native of Athens, graduated in 1969 from Emory University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After three years in the U.S. Air Force, he returned to Emory, earning a Certificate of Orthodontics in 1974.
He is past president of the Eastern District Dental Society and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists. A member of the International College of Dentists and the Georgia Academy of Dental Practice, he is also recognized as an Honorable Fellow of Dentistry in Georgia. Dr. Allen and his wife, Anne, reside in Athens and are active members of Athens First Baptist Church.
