Dr. Lang Foster graduated with a BS degree from Wofford College in 1990 and went on to dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received a scholarship from the United States Navy. After graduation, Dr. Foster entered the Navy and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. After seven years as a Navy general dentist, he was selected for the TriService Orthodontic Residency Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2004 and served as a staff orthodontist at the United States Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan from 2004-2007. Dr. Foster is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He enjoys keeping up with current trends and technology in orthodontics and routinely earns more than thirty credit hours of continuing education a year.
