Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24 hours notice if you need to change your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you are subject to being charged an additional fee.

Emergencies
Unexpected events naturally occur with orthodontic care. After all, there are lots of moving parts! In addition to after-hours emergency care, we now have our dedicated “Care Center” to manage your emergency needs, usually on the same weekday you call. Here, one of our assistants with hundreds of hours of experience managing emergencies takes care of your needs. Remember, loose brackets and broken wires delay treatment, so it’s in everyone’s best interest to take care of problems as soon as possible. Please call as soon as you know something needs attending to. We will see you in a timely manner and will take care of the immediate need.


Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the unique complexities of individual insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment – giving your insurer 15 days longer than Georgia law allows. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire insurance balance due, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
